Canon MP160 scanning problems on Mac OS X 10.6.4
I have this printer for years fine in Windows Vista uses and 7. I recently switched to Mac, and it was good, until the 10.6.4 update came out (I am not able to confirm that the update caused the problem …). So, since I've seen online in every possible forum and support pages, and have nothing to refer to this type of problem finding, I'm posting this here so everyone can see (plus it's a bit 'hard to explain). NOTE: I tried the same process, but on Windows 7Computer and the scanner works great. It 's a Mac only problem at this point.
